What is NeTToken™?

The NeTToken™ prepaid Internet purchasing system. The system is the payment method of choice for purchasers of online content and services. NeTToken™ is offering the first truly secure and anonymous payment system to consumers. All transactions are processed by an innovative (patented) technology providing complete end-user anonymity. The NeTToken™ are prepaid with set value as indicated on the cards. The values are 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50 and 100. Merchant sites will identify the value of their services/content in NeTToken™ denomination i.e. 2 NeTToken™ or 5 NeTToken™ etc.

    Why NeTToken™?

    What makes NeTToken™ unique for Internet Payment System is that it provides for a wider segment of the population to participate in online transactions without the drawbacks associated with the use of Credit/Debit Cards or trusted third party where consumers open an account and provide personal information. Furthermore, inherent in the payment system is privacy or anonymity for the user since no personal information is requested or required by NeTToken™ thus eliminating potential for Identity Theft or Fraud.

    In addition, NeTToken™ allows for control of access to sites containing content and services targeted towards Adult only. This is accomplished by having four (4) different flavours of NeTToken™ cards.

    Flavours of NeTToken™:

    NeTToken™ cards come in the following different types:
  • Regular No Balance
  • Regular Balance
  • Specialized No Balance
  • Specialized Balance

    Regular No Balance

    This would be a "No Balance", one time use card. Users would be able to use these cards at various merchant sites and discard after use. NeTToken™ charges no user fees. The user simply purchases the NeTToken™ from Authorized resellers, enters the NeTToken™ and Pin numbers from the back of the card at participating merchant sites for content or services and then discards the NeTToken™.

    Regular No Balance card will not be accepted at merchants who have a age restriction, by law, in the use of their services or viewing of their content i.e. Adult Sites, Gambling etc.

    These cards are ideal for persons under the age of majority (18, 19 or 21, depending on state or country laws) who want to subscribe to services or play online games.

    Regular Balance

    When a balance is required, these cards would be useful. A user would be able to use either whole or part of the face value of the card. In the event a partial value is used, NeTToken™ would automatically track the balance on the card. No personal information would be required or presented to NeTToken™. A nominal user transaction fee would apply for using Regular Balance Cards. NeTToken™ Regular Balance Cards will only be available in denominations greater than 20 NeTTokens. The user simply purchases the NeTToken™ cards from Authorized resellers, enters the NeTToken™ and Pin numbers from the back of the card and selects the amount of NeTToken™ to be used at participating merchant sites for content or services. The NeTToken™ card is kept with the user for future transactions.
